America's Human Trafficking Tragedy
EVIDENCE
THE COVER-UP BEGINS 1982

"The Police Chief kept telling me that the FBI would not be entering the case. I decided to call the local FBI office and request an agent to come to my home. They sent Special Agents Ed Mall and David Oxler. When they arrived they sat down at the table and tole me they would not be entering the case because, in their words 'WE HAVE NO CRIME.' I responded, 'I have no son, he was kidnapped, you all have all the information from witnesses, kidnapping is a federal crime.' The agents informed me the Police Chief, Orval Cooney had briefed them telling them there was no need for them to enter the case."

"Within four days of my press conference, I received my first of many death threats. A male voice on the phone said, 'Stop making waves or you will die.' What I did not realize at the time was that I was knocking on the back door of what became the Franklin Credit Union Investigation conducted by the Nebraska Legislature. John DeCamp, a long time Nebraska State Senator detailed it in a book, 'The Franklin Cover-up' on child abuse, Satanism and murder, which went far beyond the confines of Nebraska. Police Chief Wadman from Nebraska was implicated. It is no wonder our police chief would not investigate this matter [Wadman and Cooney were friends.] I was so close to discovering what happened to my son within three weeks after he was taken, they had to find some way to stop me...The death threats and the refusal of authorities to investigate severely limited me in trying to find my child."

CIA ON THE SCENE 1983

"Within six months of the kidnapping, a young man calling himself Paul Bishop contacted me by phone. He began to tell me that an international kidnapping/ pornography ring had taken my son. I asked, 'How do you know that to be true, can you prove it!' He replied, 'I work for a government agency which is investigating pedophile organizations. And there are indicators in your case that suggests your son was taken by such an organization. We feel he is being used for pornography and prostitution."

"Paul began to give me names of people he suspected as being involved in the kidnapping. Some were unfamiliar to me but then he gave names of people living right here in Des Moines-- some of them extremely wealthy members of this community. Hearing of local involvement didn't surprise me."

PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF RECEIVED 2006

From the Johnny Gosch Foundation:

August 27, 2006

"On my birthday... I received a package with the following pictures inside.  The first photo is of my son Johnny, shortly after he was kidnapped on Sept. 5th, 1982. He was still wearing the clothing he had on the day he was taken. He is bound and gagged.  "

Noreen Gosch

Noreen has received hundreds of photographs beginning in 2006 of Johnny bound and gagged taken not long after he was kidnapped. Click here to view just a small sample. She also began to get death threats not long after making these photographs public.

PAUL BONACCI 1991

"The guards removed the chains and Paul was brought to the table. Roy Stephens introduced Paul to me by saying 'Paul this is Johnny's Mom.' Paul immediately broke into tears saying 'I am sorry...I am so sorry.' I told him that 'I don't blame you, please tell me what happened to my son.' At that point, Paul hesitated and stammered but slowly began to tell me how the kidnapping took place. He talked about a man named Emilio who was the driver of the car and also had identified a composite drawing done by an artist I had hired based on the statements from witnesses. Paul said Johnny had been photographed about two weeks before the kidnapping. Those photographs were brought to a motel the night before the kidnapping to show Emilio who they were going to kidnap the next morning. The man who brought the photo was identified as Sam Soda. Paul had earlier chosen Sam's picture in a photo line up of twenty five pictures. He explained he had been ordered to lay in the trunk of Emilio's car along with Mike another boy brought along to help with the kidnapping. After Emilio made his first contact with Johnny by asking for directions, then leaving the area, only to turn around and go back to where Johnny was sitting in his wagon, preparing to deliver his papers. Paul and Mike were told to get into the back seat, lie on the floor and cover up with a blanket and to wait until they heard Emilio begin to speak to Johnny again. They did as they were told. Paul said Emilio had placed the barrel of a gun in his mouth and told him he would shoot hiim if he did not do as he was told. When they pulled up along side Johnny sitting in his wagon, Paul and Mike started to talk to him to lure him over to the car. THey opened up the car door, Paul said a man named Tony had been told to come from behind Johnny and push him into the car. Paul and Mike held Johnny down and placed a cloth with chloroform over Johnny's face, as Emilio ran the stop sign and turned left onto 42nd Street and headed towards the Interstate 80."
