I lived in Des Moines, Iowa when all of this happened. I lived just up/down the street from Eugene Martin. I have never forgotten the disappearance of these two boys. They have been in my prayers along with their mothers for all of these years. My son was also a Tribue carrier and I feared for his safety so much that I went out every day with him for his routes. Then I worked a long day at two jobs. I can't imagine the suffering and pain of these parents. Nor, can I imagine the life these boys had to live with their abductors. I continue to pray and remember them.

I am a mother of three girls...12, 8 and 2. I have followed this case....high officials shouldn't mean "free to do what you want!" I WILL get my friends to sign the petition to have Johnny's story re-aired on AMW... Please put this on facebook... My heart breaks for you and your family... Bring Johnny home!!!! we supposedly "respect" high officials....AND TRUST THEM!!!! Most we do....but there are some that are SCREWED up and need help!!! Please....help make a wrong a right and bring Johnny home......

Hi. I am still so sorry for the loss of your son. I was a paper girl in Dubuque when he went missing. i remember how scared I was every time i went into a building of the complex to deliver. I am 40 now & my son is now 21. I can not imagine your pain. Even tho I am in california now i still check if there has been any resolution to your son's case. it still touches me. I praise you for your stength. May God help you always.

My prayers are with all the families who have gone through these tragedies. I pray that God will light a path for the investigators to follow that will lead to the perpetrators' ultimate and complete destruction. No parent or child should ever have to suffer through this - it is pure evil at work. This darkness cannot withstand the light of day. We need to shine that light every chance we get!

Mrs. Gosch, have you ever considered that a female may have dropped off the photos to your house? And why hasn't anyone suspected the route manager? Maybe he knew things. Why would he finish delivering Eugene's papers instead of contacting police first? His hands on the bag would have messed up any prints. I don't plan to stop until Eugene's is solved. These are just some things I have wondered about.
