It originally aired on AMW in November 1992. The FBI attempted to "kill the story," but John Walsh insisted that Johnny's story be told to the American public.

Showing this program again would be an excellent way to spark interest in this still unsolved case and give America important details that they may have forgotten about Johnny's case.





APRIL 24, 2009

The petition has been on-line for 1 year, and we have 511 signatures. Thank you so much to everyone willing to sign and try to get the America's Most Wanted program to re-air Johnny's special. All the names of the folks who signed and their comments will be mailed to the AMW program in Washington, D.C. periodically to remind them that we still care, and we want justice for Johnny.

A letter and notice of petition was sent to the AMW show on November 11, 2008. No response has been received yet.  We will continue to send periodic updates to AMW as we get more signatures. Please consider supporting this worthy cause. We will not give up on this effort.
